You can call me Mack.
I’m a 6’1" photographer, lifelong creative, and unapologetic color snob — so much so that I have a tattoo of the RGB code of my favorite shade of yellow.
My love of art in all forms started with a household where music and cameras were basically family members. I'm a painter by trade (I have a fine art degree), and film photographer by choice (time-willing). My dad passed down both film and barbershop a cappella, and I’ve been part of that community since birth. I still sing baritone in a Dallas-based ladies quartet and even medaled with The Rich-Tone Chorus in 2025.
I’m also a car enthusiast as a result of my career (and of course, also Dad) — which actually works in my favor as a photographer. Being tall gives me angles most people need a ladder for. (This came in especially handy in Texas. Everything really is bigger there, especially trucks.)
During my senior year at the University at Buffalo, I met a small business owner on a trip to Dallas. That conversation turned into remote work, which turned into a cross-country move during Covid mid-semester. Together we grew the company from 7 to 65 dealerships, and the team from 5 people to over 40. It was chaotic, intense, rewarding, and the spark that pushed my creative career forward.
November, 2025
I moved to Saint Cloud, Florida to be closer to my chosen family — including my former professor and best friend, whose wedding I officiated two weeks later. She’s now expecting a baby, and yes, I’m already the aggressively involved auntie.
Outside of photography, you’ll find me singing, driving with no destination, visiting national parks, camping, or staring at Norman Rockwell paintings like they hold the secrets of the universe. (Maybe they do.)
At the end of the day, I’m someone who will do anything for the people I love, who speaks in acts of service, and who sees the world best through a lens — ideally from a slightly higher angle.
